This week, I had the awesome opportunity to be interviewed on Lori's Sew Forth Now podcast! It was such fun to talk with Lori about our love of sewing and some of my areas of special interest. She is a delightful hostess, and I thoroughly enjoyed our conversation. I think you will, too!
You can find the current episode at Sewforthnow.blogspot.com, where Lori has included a direct link, or you can listen on iTunes!
Two of the websites I mentioned for inspiration are:
The Cabi Canary
and
Fabulous After 40
I mentioned at the end of the podcast about how this interview is timed at about when I was transitioning from my old blog. So because of that, I want to take the opportunity to share something special with you!
I will be giving away two fabulous books!
"Pattern Making for a Perfect Fit"
and
The Little Black Dress
I will draw two names on September 25th from the comments mentioning Lori's podcast and from my Google followers! So, comment, link, follow, or whatever else you need to do to have a chance to get one of these books. And thank you, thank you, thank you for reading and listening!
What a great comic strip, Lynne. It was so fun talking to you for the interview and with the call about the magazine. have a very fun weekend.

I am a huge SewForth fan and one of the reasons is that she introduces us to new sources like your blog. I will definitely be following you from now on. I lost my brother in a car accident a month ago, he was only 44 years old and it's been a tragic loss. I went for a run today and instead of listening to music, I listened to you and Lori on my ipod and it was a welcome relief from that grief.
ReplyDeleteI am listener of sew forth now and love the interview. I will follow you too. Judy from Kansas
ReplyDeleteI love Lori's podcasts. I listen to them on my treadmill. Your interview was so interesting. I love to hear how people get started sewing and who influenced them. Your blog is a fun read and I hope I win the Little Black Dress book!
ReplyDeleteLoved the podcast with Lori. I will follow you now also. I think we have some of the same fitting issues and now I'm going to stay up too late reading your blog. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteLove the look of your blog and thanks for the resources. I am a long time follower of Lori and now I follow you. Would love to win a book but am looking forward to checking out your blog.
Hi
ReplyDeleteI've just had a very enjoyable drive listening to you and Lori chat about sewing! What a fantastic episode. Lori has introduced me to some great new places - and now I have a new one too - your blog. It looks fab and I'm sure I shall enjoy keeping up to date. Thanks!
Hi! I found your blog thanks to Lori's podcast and am now following you. Thanks to you and Lori for all the great inspiration!
ReplyDeleteI loved listening to your interview with Lori on Sew Forth Now! I really want to "get back into sewing" after a hiatus and you and Lori give wonderful tips and information. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHi Lynne, I found your blog early this summer and have added it to my list of regular reading. I really like your creative ideas and outlook. I was glad to hear you mention your favorite denim skirt on your podcast interview with Lori (whom I found only about a month ago and LOVE) as I am looking for a good pattern. I will give it a try. Thanks for all your inspiration.
ReplyDeleteI am a new listener to the Sew Forth Now podcast - I hope to catch up on all 71 episodes eventually. I really enjoyed your interview.
ReplyDeleteFound you from Lori's podcast and have become a follower. Not currently a garment sewer. I'm a quilter, but do have an interest in garment sewing and I've reached that age of wisdom where jeans and a tee just aren't that flattering!
ReplyDeleteIt was so fun to listen to you and Lori do the interview on Sew Forth Now. Thanks to you both for doing it. I discovered the podcast right when I was getting back into sewing and like you, I find it very motivating. I had asked if Lori could do interviews with the sewing bloggers and I am thrilled she is managing to do this!
