My Podcast Interview and a Giveaway!




This week, I had the awesome opportunity to be interviewed on Lori's Sew Forth Now podcast! It was such fun to talk with Lori about our love of sewing and some of my areas of special interest. She is a delightful hostess, and I thoroughly enjoyed our conversation. I think you will, too!

    Oh, I'm the first one who listened to the podcast! This is because I LOOOOVE Sew Forth Now, it has a lot of helpful information about sewing, and it inspires me to sew more! It was great to "discover" you and your site!

    I am a huge SewForth fan and one of the reasons is that she introduces us to new sources like your blog. I will definitely be following you from now on. I lost my brother in a car accident a month ago, he was only 44 years old and it's been a tragic loss. I went for a run today and instead of listening to music, I listened to you and Lori on my ipod and it was a welcome relief from that grief.

    I love Lori's podcasts. I listen to them on my treadmill. Your interview was so interesting. I love to hear how people get started sewing and who influenced them. Your blog is a fun read and I hope I win the Little Black Dress book!

I was glad to hear you mention your favorite denim skirt on your podcast interview with Lori (whom I found only about a month ago and LOVE) as I am looking for a good pattern. I will give it a try.     Found you from Lori's podcast and have become a follower. Not currently a garment sewer. I'm a quilter, but do have an interest in garment sewing and I've reached that age of wisdom where jeans and a tee just aren't that flattering!

    It was so fun to listen to you and Lori do the interview on Sew Forth Now. Thanks to you both for doing it. I discovered the podcast right when I was getting back into sewing and like you, I find it very motivating. I had asked if Lori could do interviews with the sewing bloggers and I am thrilled she is managing to do this!

    I've listened to Lori's Sew Forth podcasts since the beginning - I always look forward to the next one. I'm going to go listen to the latest right now while cleaning house. If I can't be sewing, at least I can be listening to y'all talk about it!
