ellen j goods

Okay, let me say first off that I am horrible at the whole social network thing. But JR and I decided it was time to put our little business on facebook. It's a work in progress... a brand new baby work in progress:

Now, I hate soliciting/begging/groveling for you to like us, but would you mind checking out our page? Search ellen j goods on Facebook   and giving us your thumbs up?  It's just another aspect of what I do that you may find interesting from time to time, and you just might get an idea here and there for some home decorating ideas using found items.

Part of the reason why we are having a facebook page is because we are doing  this show in a few weeks (and I guess that is part of the thing to do!):

    Hi Lynne,
    I searched ellen j goods, and I found you with that green logo. I "liked" you! And I really like you!

    Can I ask a favor? I also have a facebook page. If you search PaShe Suits you should find me. I make costumes for body builders and dancers.

    I did a mapquest search of Palmyra, NY. It's about 5 hours from my home. My husband & I want to make some weekend trips this fall, and I'm going to try to get him to go to your show. Would love to meet you guys!

    Excellant point, Li. Being someone that is not a big social media person myself, I can understand where you are coming from. It's crazy that we have to feel the pressure to be on facebook "or else." Actually, in order to be a part of a show that we are doing, that was a requirement! I just don't know how else to proceed with promoting business other than that good old fashioned word of mouth/business cards that we have been doing for decades!
    Do you ever get the feeling that the world is just proceeding without us?
